• In this Section, we shall take a quick look at the basic structure of the Tetrahedron and some of its properties .

The Structure of the Tetrahedron :

• The Tetrahedron is simply a four-faced Symmetric Solid Object :
  • with each of the four (4) identical Faces being a Equilateral Triangle .

  We then present this set of 3 views for the Tetrahedron :

  

  • There are then exactly four (4) Nodal Points / Vertices for the Tetrahedron .

Intrinsic Shapes associated with the Tetrahedron :

• We simply note here that the Tetrahedron has only one intrinsic shape associated it , namely the Triangle .
